For Paws is a brand new dog and cat supply store in SE Portland. We are now open every day on 3029 SE Divison St, right next to The Detour Cafe (Yum!).

We carry a great selection of the standard essentials for your dogs and cats (Kongs, Chuck-Its, kitty litter, Puppia harnesses, Gentle Leaders, etc) plus lots of other unique items that you won’t find everywhere else (locally made super potent catnip, super cute doggy hoodies, all natural wheat free treats and much more). We’re always looking for new and fun items that we haven’t seen before, especially stuff that is made locally and from natural and eco-friendly material.

Nutrition

We think that the most important aspect of keeping your best friend happy and healthy is the food that he eats. It just makes sense. Because of that, we only stock food that meets our standards and consists only of the highest quality ingredients. This means never carrying food that has any byproducts, corn, soy or wheat, which are common allergens in dogs and cats. We also offer grain free options and a large selection of raw food. We spend most of our free time looking up information on pet nutrition so that we can pass the knowledge on to our customers and benefit their dogs and cats. We’ve learned from our own experiences with our pets the difference that a healthy diet can make and our biggest goal is to share our findings with you.
