Are you sitting down? Are you ready to be blown away? Are you ready to see the most Portland-y pet product ever seen on the face of, er, Portland? A collar that combines Portland’s love for dogs, recycling, biking and avoiding leather products, all this and made not far from here in Seattle?

When we found these new collars made out of recycled bike tubes, we thought three things.
1. They’re so tres Portland that they must at least be made in the Pacific Northwest (yep, Seattle!)
2. Our customers are going to love them
3. We have to order them ASAP
So order them ASAP we did. And much to our glee, they arrived today! These things are so cool. Check it out:
- 80% recycled material
- 100% vegan material
- looks/wears like leather
- handmade in the USA
- simple no nonsense style
- strong, durable design
- 3 sizes, 3 stitching colors
- 100% satisfaction guaranteed
Portland dogs may never be the same again(next thing you know they’ll be demanding coffee with their kibble).

Well it looks like the rainy season is finally upon us. Everyone sees this tiding differently. For Bucky, rain means nothing but wet fur when he goes outside to do his business, and that means no fun. Luckily for Bucky and his fellow cuddly comrades that seek shelter from the storm, For Paws has just the cure for the Rainy Day Blues.
Young Buckminster can be seen above in one of the really nice rain jackets with removable fleece liners that also sport reflective strips, extra good for night time walks. The other great thing about these rain jackets is that they come in up to XXXL, which will fit a dog between 50 and 70 pounds. We know that it’s not always easy to find good apparel for the larger pups out there, so we try to find the best stuff to cater to our larger breed friends. Oh, did we mention that these jackets have a little pocket on the back, perfect for a little treat or a poop bag? Heehee.
We also have Puppia rain jackets in lots of different colors that go down to teeny tiny sizes. They also have the reflective strips, and my favorite feature, a slot that the leash can fit through and attach to a harness, making them super functional.
So why not brave the rain and visit For Paws today to pick up the necessary gear to keep your friends dry?
